Around the Urban Homestead

We’ve been having tons of rain so the gardens had a bit of a growth spurt in response. The sugar snap peas which have been annoying me so, are now chin high and have finally decided to start flowering. The potatoes have started flowering now too.

The corns between knee and mid thigh high all of a sudden. And the spaghetti squash has already filled in most of the space I gave it making it clear it plans on taking over the whole dang yard this year.

I know I keep including pics of the egyptian walking onions, but they do such cool things. Right now they are forming their top bulbs.

Bouncing baby pepper :) You can see in this one some of the weed growth. I actually had the garden clear and hoed before the rain started but some of the more vigorous weeds are now as large as some of the smaller plants.

And another result of all the rain
