I just wanted to give a little shout out to my favorite groups on facebook. I’ve been in a lot over the years, but I’ve narrowed it down to these. None of these are huge groups that I can’t keep up with, which is a real pet peeve of mine. But they are filled with good folks and many friends and experts.
- Chickens for the Soul – Faith based group for folks raising chickens
- Christian Homesteading – Faith based group for homesteaders of any level or location (I actually run this one)
- Preserving Natures Bounty – Covers canning, dehydrating, and pickling using both current researched based methods and some of the old ways. Run by a good friend of mine who is super smart and helpful.
- Seeds of Faith – Faith based gardening group
- Wisconsin Gardening – New group geared for Wisconsin gardeners

When you go to the group page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/christianhomesteading/) there will be a Join Group button on the top right, just under the banner image.
